On February 9, 2026, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan, A. Bayramov, met with the President of the Turkmen-Japanese Scientific and Technological Association, H. Koinuma, and representatives of Japanese companies working with the Association. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan. 

At the meeting the parties discussed further strengthening the scientific and technological cooperation previously established between Turkmenistan and Japan, as well as introducing potential new Japanese companies to the Turkmen market.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the capabilities and technological proposals of the Japanese company “Tohkemy Corporation”, which plans to implement relevant work in our country to introduce water purification technologies and equipment.

Furthermore, the capabilities of Japanese companies “Sustec” and “Carbon Cryo Capture Co., Ltd” which specialize in the production of high-precision exploration technology devices with quantum sensitivity for the search for underground resources, as well as carbon dioxide capture technologies in the liquefied natural gas sector, were presented at the meeting.
