A concert «Music is the soul of cinema» was held in the «Vatan» cinema concert hall, where once again the musicians of the Rovshen Nepesov orchestra delighted the Ashgabat audience and guests of the capital with wonderful music from Turkish television series.

There is one special feature in these films - they reveal the solution to modern life problems. Whether it is family ties or love affairs, the vivid expression of feelings of the characters finds sincere empathy in the hearts of film lovers. And a very successful combination in happy and dramatic situations shows itself to be a harmonious, emotional musical accompaniment.

The concerts of the Rovshen Nepesov orchestra based on the soundtracks of Turkish television series provide an opportunity for viewers to experience vivid emotions again along with the characters of their favourite films and at the same time enjoy the inspired playing of musicians of the orchestra. This evening, fragments from familiar stories of the TV series «Forbidden love», «Family», «Magnificent century», «Songbird kinglet», «Hercai», «Kara Sevda» and others came to life before the eyes of the audience. Dramas featuring honour and duty, love and jealousy, cruelty and nobility flashed across the screen before the eyes of the audience. These emotions were enhanced by the musical background in the live performance of the orchestra, which proved that music is the soul of cinema.

To the applause of the audience, the concert ended with a joyful and rhythmic melody from the TV series «Love for hire». The soloist of the concert, honoured artist of Turkmenistan Selbi Annadurdyyeva, performed backstage. This nuance, in which the vocalist can be heard but not seen, was taken to better match the soundtrack of the film. The orchestra was conducted by Eziz Jumanyyazov, and the honoured artist of Turkmenistan Rovshen Nepesov assumed the role of the program host.

− Performing soundtracks for Turkish TV series, - Rovshen Nepesov shared in an interview after the concert, - I want not only to give the audience pleasure from meeting their favourite characters, but also to expand their musical knowledge of the wonderful works of Turkish composers - Toygar Yshykly, Chaglar Haznedaroglu, Sertach Ozgumush and others. And once again to convince everyone that music is really the soul of cinema!
