The country’s young robotics engineers won 12 medals at an international competition in Dubai.

The international competition “IWISE Global Final 2026,” held from February 14 to 16, 2026, in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), concluded with a triumphant victory for Turkmen school students. In this prestigious contest, which brought together more than 400 talented young participants from around the world, the teams representing our country won a total of 12 medals: 2 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze.

The highest award of the competition — the gold medal — was presented to Selim Begmyradov (a student of Secondary School No. 7 in Ashgabat) and Abduljelil Patyshagulyev (a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 97 in Ashgabat).

For their outstanding performance in the “Line Follower” category, these talented students not only received gold medals but were also declared the best team of the competition, earning a special prize.

Our school students also demonstrated a high level of skill in various disciplines such as “Line Follower,” “Mini Sumo,” and “Maze.” The silver medalists were: Abdulla Annayev, Muhammetkasym Annayev, Saranur Annayeva, Polat Saparov, Bilalkerem Berdiyev, and Aisenem Akmyradova. The bronze medals were awarded to Ebubekir Berdiyev, Muhammedulemin Annayev, Rahman Garrygulov, and Gurbanmuhammet Magtymgulyyev.

In addition, a special jury prize was awarded to Muhammedulemin Annayev, a student of Specialized Secondary School No. 6 in Ashgabat.

The winners — members of the robotics club of the Specialized Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag and the “Kämil bilim” training center — were prepared for the competition by experienced teachers Myrat Sakhetgulyyev and Halil Kovusov.

“This victory is vivid evidence of the great potential of our country’s young generation in the world of technology. I express my deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the conditions and opportunities that have been created,” said Myrat Sakhetgulyyev, a teacher at the Specialized Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag.
