Registration for participants in the V Internet geodesy Olympiad among students of higher education institutions of the country is underway at the Turkmen agricultural institute.
The Olympiad, organised by the department of institute of agricultural land reclamation, will take place on the 16th of April. Students from all universities in the country, studying in various specialties and areas of training, are invited to participate. No more than five students from each university can participate in the Olympiad.
The competition will be held in the form of an individual competition. 50 test questions have been prepared for participants. The test takes 100 minutes to complete.
The students who have scored the most points according to the results of the competition will be declared the winners of the competition. The results of the competition will be announced in individual and team competitions. The participants who took the I, II and III places in the Olympiad will be awarded with diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

Specialised Olympiads and competitions among university students are held by TAI on a regular basis. Intellectual reviews are aimed at developing the talents and professional skills of students, their abilities to analyse and solve current scientific and practical problems, and to conduct independent work. Student competitions allow assessing the level of knowledge of students, their professional training and are an effective tool for increasing the creative and scientific activity of young people.
