The intellectual contest “Brain Ring,” consisting of three stages, took place at the Balkanabat branch of the «Kämil bilim» Educational Center. The event was organized by the Main Department of Education of the Balkan Velayat, the Balkan Velayat Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, and the Balkanabat branch of the «Kämil bilim» Educational Center.
A total of 25 teams participated in the competition, including students from the Balkanabat branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, the Balkanabat Oil Secondary Vocational School, the Velayat Specialized School of Arts, as well as pupils in grades 10–12 from the city’s secondary schools.

The qualifying round, held throughout February, was conducted in a testing format. In the subsequent stages, teams competed for the right to advance to the final.
Participants in the intellectual game demonstrated not only profound knowledge, but also the ability to find correct answers within seconds, logical thinking skills, and strong teamwork abilities. In the final round, students from the Balkanabat branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University competed against pupils from Secondary School No. 24 of Balkanabat.

The organization of the event and the active participation of the youth were commented on by Sohbetmyrat Bashov, a robotics instructor at the Balkanabat branch of the «Kämil bilim» Educational Center:
“This competition has become a modern platform for intellectual rivalry among young people. In the era of digital technology development, particular importance is attached to young people’s ability to quickly analyze information and formulate accurate conclusions. The results of the three stages demonstrated the high level of knowledge among the youth and their strong interest in such intellectual games. In the future, we plan to hold such events regularly to identify talented young individuals.”

According to the decision of the judging panel, first place was awarded to the team of students from the Balkanabat branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. Second place went to pupils from Secondary School No. 24 of Balkanabat, while third place was shared by teams from Secondary Schools No. 12 and No. 6 of Balkanabat.
The winners were solemnly presented with honorary certificates and commemorative gifts from the organizers and sponsors of the competition. This intellectual contest plays an important role in increasing young people’s interest in science and in developing their creative abilities.
