On the 23^rd of February, the International University of humanities and development in Ashgabat began accepting applications from Turkmen citizens wishing to enrol in higher education institutions in Romania.

The selection of citizens of the country for study in bachelor's and master's degree programs at universities in Romania for the 2026/2027 academic year is carried out by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Young people with general secondary, secondary vocational or higher vocational education are invited to participate in the admissions campaign.

To participate in the selection, candidates must prepare a package of documents, including an application and questionnaire of the established form, a reference from their last place of study or work (military unit), twelve photographs measuring 3x4 cm, a document on general secondary, secondary vocational or higher vocational education, and other documents. If the applicant is in the final year of high school, a certified copy of the transcript must be provided.

Candidates with SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS scores are given preference when applying to undergraduate programs, and GMAT and GRE scores are given preference when applying to graduate programs. Winners of state subject Olympiads and participants in international competitions also receive additional points for admission.

Translations of documents must be made in English, French or Romanian.

The admissions committee provides applicants with detailed information about the list of specialties, the number of places, and the conditions of study at universities in Romania. The document submission period will last until the 8^th of March.

The selection interview with candidates will take place on the 11^th to 12^th of March at the International University for humanities and development, located at the address: Ashgabat, street 1958 (Andalyp), 169.
