Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the meeting of the State Security Council, at which results of work of military and law enforcement bodies of the country for two months of the current year were considered. Several issues, connected with security and peace in our independent fatherland, the strengthening of the material and technical basis of security structures and further perfection of their activity were also discussed.

Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence B.Gundogdyev who reported on the work the Minister of Defence, carried out from the beginning of the year with a view of successful fulfilment of the goals planned in the Program of development of the Armed Forces of the country, was the first to take the floor. At the same time, he reported on the undertaken practical steps for improvement of conditions of service and lives of defenders of our fatherland and improvement of professional skill of officers.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out the significance of continuation of purposeful activity to modernise the Armed Forces of the country and to study on a constant basis the advanced world experience in this area as well as realisation complex measures for development of the national army. In this connection, a number of concrete instructions were given to the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence.

Attorney General B.Muhamedov reported on the work carried out from the beginning of the year for supervision over observance of national legislation, active use of digital system and improvement of professional skill of employees of the department.

Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan outlined further conduction of prosecutor’s control over accurate fulfilment of laws and legal acts in the country as well as realization of efficient work to strengthen law and to ensure rights of citizens among important tasks and gave the Attorney General a number of instructions.

Minister of Internal Affairs M.Khydyrov reported on the measures adopted for the past two months to maintain law and order, prevention of offences, road and transport incidents, and observance of fire prevention rules.

Having heard the report, the head of the state gave the minister concrete instructions connected with the further implementation of productive work on maintenance of public order and prevention of offences.

Chairman of the Supreme Court B.Khojamgulyev reported on the activity carried out for two months of the current year within realisation of the Program of development of the given structure, the course of digitalization in divisions and perfection of judicial system, and fulfilment of earlier given instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan focused attention on the importance of continuation of productive work on maintenance of law in the country, protection of interests of the state and society, rights of citizens, and increase of efficiency of activity of judicial bodies. Concrete instructions were in this connection given.

Then, Minister of National Security D.Meredov reported on the work executed for the January-February period of the current year, adopted measures to maintain peace and tranquillity in our fatherland.

Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country gave the minister a number of concrete instructions concerning continuation of work on protection of the constitutional system and national interests of the country, consecutive perfection of activity of the given body.

Chief of the State Border Service I.Ilamanov reported on the steps undertaken for the past two months to ensure reliable protection of sacred boundaries of our country, technical equipment of frontier troops, and fulfilment of instructions given earlier by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that the frontier of Turkmenistan is the border of friendship and brotherhood and instructed to continue effective work on its protection, and perfection of activity and the strengthening of the material and technical basis of frontier troops.

Minister of Adalat M.Taganov reported on the work realized from the beginning of the year for perfection of national legislation at the expense of introduction of international experience, and improvement of professional skill of employees, introduction of digital system in subordinated structures.

Having heard the report, the head of the state underlined that it is necessary to continue properly work on modernisation of legal frameworks of the country, to carry out educational events to explain citizens laws and gave the minister a number of instructions.

Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Khudaykuliyev reported on results of the work implemented for the January-February period of the current year in the given structure, in particular on increase of efficiency of activity at the expense of introduction of digital system and modern technologies, and adopted measures on realisation of the Program of development of the department.

Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country instructed to carry out further proper control over observance of customs rules at customs points of Turkmenistan.

Chairman of the Migration Service A.Sazakov reported on the work realized for the two months of the current year for improvement of quality of migration services, strengthening of the material and technical basis of the subordinate body and successful fulfilment of the goals defined in the Program of development of the given structure.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that one should hold issues of perfection of activity of the department in the centre of attention. At the same time, the importance of conduction of more effective work for maintenance of quality of rendered services was stated. In that regard, concrete instructions were given to the head of the Service.

Addressing participants of the meeting, the head of the state underlined that according to the defensive Military doctrine of Turkmenistan, due measures are taken to maintain a high level of security and territorial integrity of our independent, permanent neutral fatherland. An emphasis was also made on the fact that the priority attention is given to the strengthening of defensibility of the country, improvement of social living conditions of defenders of our fatherland and members of their families. In this context, it was noted that work in the given area would be continued.

At the meeting of the State Security Council important issues, on which corresponding decisions were made, were also considered.

At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health and big successes in their responsible service for peace and happy life of our people.
