The last semifinalist has been determined at the ongoing Turkmenistan Football Federation Cup-2026 tournament in Ashgabat. It is FC “Ashgabat”. This became known following the final matches in Group “B”.

In the first of these matches, “Arkadag”, which had already secured its place in the semifinals ahead of time, defeated “Merv” 3–0 and finished at the top of the standings with 9 points. The goals for the winners were scored by Begench Akmamedov (18th minute), Dayanch Meredov (57th minute) and Resul Hojayev (68th minute).

In the other match, which determined the fate of the final ticket to the semifinals, “Ashgabat” defeated the Turkmenistan U-20 youth national team 1–0 thanks to an accurate strike by Didar Didarov in the 55th minute, thus retaining second place with 6 points.

It should be recalled that in Group “A” the teams that had previously advanced to the semifinals were “Shagadam”, which finished first with 7 points, and “Ahal”, which placed second with 4 points.

In the first semifinal, “Shagadam” will face “Ashgabat”, while in the second semifinal “Arkadag” will play against “Ahal”.

The winners will compete for the main trophy in the final on March 12, while the losing teams will meet on the same day in a match for third place to determine the bronze medalist of the tournament.

All matches of the Turkmenistan Football Federation Cup-2026 are being held at the central arena of the multifunctional Ashgabat Stadium.
