The development of the national insurance market and improvement of environmental legislation were among the topics discussed at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the digital system.

Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov presented a report on measures to expand insurance services and strengthen their legal framework. Particular attention was paid to mandatory state personal insurance for specialists working in the field.

Speaking about the main provisions of the initiative, H.Geldimyradov informed that according to article 44 of the Law of Turkmenistan «On hunting and protection of hunting assets», measures are being implemented for mandatory state personal insurance of state inspectors in the field of hunting and protection of hunting assets, which is designed to ensure the reliability of social guarantees for employees performing tasks to protect the country's ecosystems.

After hearing the proposal, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of consistent development of the insurance system.

Thus, the deputy-prime was instructed to continue work on improving the regulatory framework of the insurance sector, ensuring its compliance with modern requirements and objectives of the state environmental policy.
