«Cinema symphony in Ashgabat» was the name of the concert that was held with great success on the stage of the Mukams Palace of the State cultural centre of Turkmenistan. Its performers are musicians of the State symphony orchestra under the direction of honoured artist of Turkmenistan Rasul Klychev. The audience was greeted by the concert host of symphony orchestra, Selbi Yomudova. She invited everyone in the hall to take a musical journey into dreams, love, courage, and bravery, captured in films that have become hits for generations of moviegoers.

The concert opened with music by Danny Elfman from the film «Spider-man». Vivid notes of anxiety and triumph rang out, accompanying the incredible stunts of acclaimed hero of the film, who, thanks to the bite of a mutant spider, transformed from an ordinary boy into a superman and channeled his potential into the fight for justice. Following Spider-man was the youth favourite Harry Potter – a student of magic and an equally brave fighter for justice. To the music of Patrick Doyle for the film «Harry Potter and the goblet of fire», Harry and his friends performed fearless deeds, winning the affection of boys and girls on all continents of the Earth.

Turkmen pop star Dovran Shammyyev performed the song «Never enough» by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul from the film «The Greatest showman». In a light, relaxed manner, Dovran conveyed the story of how the hero of the film achieved his dream.

Kakajan Hudayberdiyev performed a duduk solo, emphasising the unbending will of the hero of the film «Gladiator» with a languid, almost music-within-music, composition by composer Hans Zimmer.

The symphony orchestra performed music by Brian Taylor from the film «Rambo», David Arnold from «Agent 007», Lalo Schifrin from «Mission impossible» and other film melodies based on themes of superman films. The music of James Horner from the film «Titanic» was performed about love that was not enough time. Thanks to the creators of this film, the pain of the perished passengers of the giant ship continues to haunt our hearts. And the listeners, together with the heroes of the film, relived the unforgettable tragedy.

At the end of the musical journey with a distinct heroic undertone, the music of Hans Zimmer from «Pirates of the Caribbean» was heard. The film contains a lot of fantasy and mysticism. The melody suggested a raging ocean, a sense of danger lurking at every step, and ultimately, admiration for the courage of protagonist. The hall greeted this work with prolonged applause. And the orchestra performed it again as an encore.

The music of the film about brave and successful heroes involuntarily lifted the spirits of the listeners, emotionally inspiring them with feelings of justice and compassion.
