The agenda of the scientific-practical conference have been made the topical issues in crop production, seed production and breeding. The domestic agro-industrial complex faced with task of the software implementation of the most modern and efficient agricultural techniques, the results of research designed to play a decisive role in further strengthening the impact of the land and its fertility.

On behalf of President of Turkmenistan winners of the Veterans of the traditional agricultural competition among combiners and farmers were awarded cash prizes and valuable gifts during the ceremony.

The exhibition organized at the Museum "Ak Bugday" on this occasion has been a striking illustration of modern achievements and centuries-old traditions of the Turkmen grain farming. Here were presented samples of the best varieties of wheat cultivated in the Turkmen fields. Each variety is the result of years of work breeders, production tests, whose results were confirmed in practice.

Originally the inherent respect for the traditions of the Turkmen people to bread, to farmers work had been presented in a festive display’s examples of folk art and fine art such as paintings and sculptures from the wheat grains and straw. And of course the most honorable place in the ongoing exhibition was devoted to the main "hero" of the holiday Turkmen Sachak and his best decorating: fragrant churek which has absorbed all the heat of his native land and the golden sun as well as a variety of baked goods and baking of the new harvest grain.

In the lobby of the museum exhibits were shown which is the evince of the multi-millennial history of cultivation of wheat on the abundant Turkmen land, ancestral traditions of tillage which are now combined with the possibilities of modern technology and the achievements of scientific thought and formed the basis of modern methods of farming, due to which Turkmenistan is confidently took place in the prestigious list grain-exporting countries.

In the afternoon the scientific and practical conference continued its work at the Turkmen Agricultural University. As part of breakout sessions was an interesting discussion of the results of research conducted in agricultural universities, specialized research institutes, experimental farms, research and production centers of the country experienced.

Conference participants discussed such important topics as the technique and experience in creating new varieties, selection of cereals, the development of more effective agricultural techniques for their cultivation and increasing yields and many others. There have also been affected by the problem of large-scale introduction of research results and methodologies developed directly in agricultural production practices.
