Turkmenistan and China are preparing to hold a major joint business forum and a specialized exhibition. As reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyyev, more than 80 state institutions and private companies from China have already expressed interest in the event.

Chinese partners will showcase advanced developments in key sectors of the economy. The exhibition will feature machine engineering, the fuel and energy complex, the chemical industry, construction, transport, logistics, agriculture, and environmental protection. A separate segment will focus on modern technologies, including digital systems, internet services, and the electronics industry.

On the Turkmen side, the forum will be attended by heads of ministries and agencies, as well as representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET). The program includes bilateral meetings, where specific steps to increase trade turnover and launch new investment projects will be discussed.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the strategic nature of relations with China. In this context, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the high-level preparation and organization of the Turkmen–Chinese Business Forum and exhibition, which will take place in Ashgabat.
