Today, a ceremonial concert marking the 27th Opera Days of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) was held at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Among the participants were masters of opera from Turkmenistan, the Republic of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

This event became a vivid confirmation of the success of the state cultural policy implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Today, Turkmenistan is consistently expanding productive cooperation with foreign countries and authoritative international organizations. Special importance is attached to cultural diplomacy as an essential instrument of peace, friendship, and mutual trust. By strengthening cooperation with TURKSOY, the country supports international events organized by the organization in Turkic-speaking states, which contribute to reinforcing bonds of friendship, unity among brotherly peoples, and the promotion of shared values on a global scale. The active participation of Turkmenistan’s cultural figures and artists in festivals, exhibitions, and concerts under the auspices of TURKSOY further enhances our country’s international standing.

The holding of the concert dedicated to the Opera Days of TURKSOY became another step in strengthening bilateral relations. This event, consolidating the historical and spiritual unity of the brotherly Turkic peoples, clearly demonstrated that Turkmenistan acts as an important international cultural and humanitarian center.

The celebration opened with the work “Türkmenistan bagy-bossan” (“Turkmenistan – a Flourishing Garden”) by Veli Mukhadov, performed by the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Choir of Turkmenistan. The inspired musical composition, reflecting the greatness of the country, the beauty of its nature, and the prosperity of its people, evoked a strong sense of spiritual uplift among the audience.

The concert program featured masterpieces of world and Turkic operatic classics. In virtuoso performances by masters of the stage and outstanding contemporary artists, the audience heard excerpts from national operas in Turkmen, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, and Turkish, as well as famous arias from globally renowned works such as “Romeo and Juliet,” “Pagliacci,” “The Force of Destiny,” “Il Trovatore,” “Carmen,” “Faust,” “Andrea Chénier,” and “Granada,” performed in Italian, French, German, and Spanish. Each performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The artistic celebration became a vivid manifestation of Turkmenistan’s cultural diplomacy, once again confirming the immense role of art as a unifying and creative force. The event symbolized deep respect for the shared roots of Turkic-speaking peoples and a high appreciation of the world’s classical heritage.

The concert concluded with a joint performance by all participants of the famous piece “Funiculì, Funiculà,” which sounded as a powerful anthem of peace, unity, and unbreakable friendship.

Cultural figures and artists expressed their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for his comprehensive support and for providing broad opportunities to hold this event.

Thus, in the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the ceremonial concert became an impetus for further strengthening cooperation with TURKSOY and a clear demonstration of the success of large-scale efforts aimed at bringing cultures closer together in the name of peace and sustainable development on a global scale.
