Issues related to the development of the agro-industrial complex and the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the country’s regions were reviewed at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov via the digital system. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyyev delivered a report on the matter.

In order to conduct the upcoming harvest campaign as quickly as possible and without losses, the Deputy Prime Minister appealed to the head of state to determine the dates for specialized scientific and practical seminars in the velayats and to give his blessing for the start of the harvesting campaign with the participation of respected elders.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction that a rich wheat harvest had been grown in the country this year.

The head of state gave his blessing for the start of the grain harvesting campaign and set specific dates for the regions. Thus, the harvesting season will begin on June 3 in the Ahal, Lebap, and Mary velayats, while in the Balkan and Dashoguz velayats it will begin on June 10. The President of Turkmenistan appealed to the respected elders to inaugurate the start of the harvesting campaign and wished the hardworking grain growers great success in their work.
