As part of Culture Week, which complemented the historically significant events of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” a series of events was held aimed at promoting various forms of art and creative expression. The activities organized in celebration of the Day of Culture and Art Workers and the Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi reflected the country’s achievements across all spheres and the rich spiritual world of its people.

The annual observance of Culture Week is a clear demonstration that the significant attention given by the state to the development of culture, art, and literature is yielding positive results. This creative forum plays an important role in advancing national culture and identifying young talents.

This morning, participants of Culture Week took a boat trip on the Caspian Sea. The excursion allowed representatives of the creative community to admire the beautiful scenery of the Avaza National Tourist Zone, which has undergone remarkable transformation in recent years, as well as the natural beauty of the region and its picturesque seascapes. Cultural figures and artists expressed their deep gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating favorable conditions for the comprehensive development of artistic creativity and for enriching national culture with new works.

Various events continued at the Balkan Velayat Museum of History and Local Lore, where an exhibition of fine and decorative arts entitled “Sungat gözelligi – ylham çeşmesi” was organized. The works on display impressed visitors with their diversity of artistic styles and high level of craftsmanship.

After viewing the original paintings and decorative art pieces, exhibition participants highly praised the creativity of the artists. The works of Turkmen painters representing various branches of national culture reflected the happy life of our people and other themes.

As part of Week, performances by children's creative groups were held at the Cultural and Sports Complex of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of the State Concern “Türkmennebit.” The concert program “Bagtyýar nesilleriň owazy,” presented by children from Balkan velayat, left a lasting impression on the audience. The performances of the young artists provided vivid evidence of the emergence of a new generation of masters of the arts in the country.

A meeting with distinguished artists was also held, during which they shared their extensive experience and offered valuable advice to the young performers. The event became a memorable occasion for aspiring performers seeking to realize their creative potential.

In accordance with the Culture Week program, special attention was devoted to various meetings. One of the highlights of the day was a poetry reading event. The performances by accomplished poets and writers impressed participants and inspired cultural figures to create new works.

The art of the bagshy, an integral component of the centuries-old culture of the Turkmen people, continues to strengthen unity within society. This theme formed the basis of the concert program “Ol şirwan perdäňe galsana, bagşy!”, performed by bagshy musicians at the House of Culture in the village of Belek, Turkmenbashi etrap.

The audience listened attentively to the performances and highly praised the musicians’ mastery in performing traditional songs and melodies. An exhibition of national musical instruments was also organized, showcasing instruments whose enchanting sounds continue to delight audiences to this day.

The events held within the framework of Culture Week in the Balkan velayat reflect the lofty goals and achievements of national culture and art, as well as the country's successes across various sectors. These accomplishments have become possible thanks to the large-scale transformations initiated by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag.

Song and music celebrations, performances by dance and folklore groups, and appearances by theater artists, all organized as part of Culture Week during the year marking the 35th anniversary of our Motherland’s sacred independence, have enriched the program with meaningful and diverse content.

In this regard, folk theaters operating throughout the country contribute to the joy of the Turkmen people through their outstanding stage productions. The announcement of the results of the “Şadyýan şahandazlar” creative competition, organized among the country's folk theaters as part of Culture Week in the Balkan velayat, became another important event in the celebration.

The awards ceremony for the winners of the competition was held at the Great Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi State Drama Theater of the Balkan velayat. During the ceremony, special recognition was given to the skill of the artists who have dedicated their lives to their chosen profession, as well as to their stage characters.

As noted, one of the competition’s primary objectives is to enhance the ability of folk theater artists to portray historical figures professionally. The actors who received high praise for their performances expressed sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating favorable conditions for the advancement of artistic creativity and theatrical activity.

Following the awards ceremony, the audience was treated to a performance of the play “Ene wesýeti.” The actors brought their characters to life with great skill, demonstrating remarkable talent and professionalism. The thunderous applause of the audience became a well-deserved reward for the actors of the play, which was created thanks to their enthusiasm.

Representatives of the country’s folk theaters affirmed that they would continue to make effective use of the opportunities created through the tremendous attention paid by Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar to the development of national culture and art, working with inspiration to elevate Turkmen art to the international level.

Every event organized within the framework of Culture Week—including performances by artists, musical ensembles, and folklore groups—reflects the important developments taking place in Turkmenistan. This serves as evidence that cultural figures are making a worthy contribution to promoting the country's successes and achievements.

One of the day’s major events was the creative meeting entitled “Arkadagly Watanymyz – dillerde dessanymyz!”, held at the Cultural Center of the Turkmenbashi etrap. The meeting was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence and the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” Participants noted that thanks to state support, national culture and art have reached a new level of development. Discussions focused on improving artistic creativity, introducing innovative methods into the cultural sphere, and adopting advanced international practices. The effectiveness of mentorship and continuity between generations was particularly emphasized.

The productive meeting also featured an exchange of views on the creative activities of prominent representatives of Turkmen literature, as well as contemporary writers and poets. This served as further evidence of the rich and meaningful program of Culture Week.

As is traditional, Culture Week continued with a festive concert held at the Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi Palace of Culture of Oil Workers in the city of Balkanabat. Featuring leading cultural and artistic figures from the Lebap and Mary velayats, the concert became a symbolic culmination of the third day of the celebration.

The vibrant musical performances glorified the country's development, its steady progress toward new heights, the happy life of its people, and the success of the large-scale reforms initiated by Hero-Arkadag and now being implemented under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar. The performances were accompanied by video presentations illustrating the key stages in the development of neutral Turkmenistan. The audience's enthusiastic applause inspired the artists to pursue new creative achievements.

The outstanding performances by artists from the Lebap and Mary velayats became a hymn to the happy life of the Turkmen people and to the large-scale activities of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who is worthily continuing the noble initiatives of Hero-Arkadag aimed at promoting national culture and art around the world.

Every day of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” is marked by significant historical events for the country and its people.
