Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider a number of issues of state life.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on the activity carried out to further improve the national legislation, was the first to take the floor.

As she informed, necessary work is implemented to make amendments and additions corresponding to realities of the time in the legal acts aimed at the further development of the country, increase of standards of living of the population, protection of the rights and freedoms of the individual and realisation of government programs.

In addition, the meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan was held. Representatives of the Mejlis took part in seminars on various issues, organised by structural divisions of the United Nations Organization, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe together with profile state institutions of our country.

Summing up the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out the significance of the further strengthening the national legislative framework and perfection of legal acts.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet G.Agajanov reported on the activity of "Türkmennebit” State Concern.

As he reported, necessary measures are realized to create at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries complex new manufactures at the expense of introduction of modern technologies that are urged to promote adjustment of release of import replacing competitive petrochemical production.

In this connection, for consideration of the President of Turkmenistan a corresponding proposal was presented.

Having heard the report, the head of the state noticed that in the country a purposeful work is realized to consecutively modernise the petroleum-refining industry and release of petrochemical production. Having approved the proposal on creation of new manufacture at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries complex, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of concrete instructions.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural sector and course of seasonal campaigns in velayats.

As he informed, in regions of the country due work is carried out to gather wheat in due time. At that, a special significance is given to effective operation of agricultural machinery.

At the same time, interrow cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers and watering are carried out in cotton fields, today according to agro-technical standards.

Besides it, corresponding work is implemented to ensure a well-organized rice sowing campaign in Lebap velayat and sugar beet in Mary velayat.

With a view of strengthening food abundance in the country at the expense of increase in volumes of cultivation of agricultural products, concrete measures are taken to harvest potato, vegetables, gourds, and supply of the population by these products.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked the importance of the further complex development of the agricultural branch. The head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to hold the grain harvesting in the shortest terms, timely settlement of accounts with manufacturers of production and due care of cotton fields under strict control.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on the activity of the Ministry of Energy.

As he reported, with a view of the further strengthening the material and technical basis of electric power branch, necessary work is realized to operate power stations and thermal electric power stations and transmission lines and substations. This measure allows providing consumers with the electric power properly.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that in the country the material and technical basis of the electric power branch is regularly strengthened. Having approved the proposal aimed at reliable and uninterrupted supply of consumers by electric power, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out necessary work.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Atagulyev reported on undertaken practical steps to adjust new manufactures in the textile industry.

As he informed, today, in the cotton spinning factory of Dashoguz city a complex work is realized to release various kinds of production at the expense of processing of waste of textile industry. It will promote manufacture of import replacing goods, saturation of the internal consumer market, increase of export potential of the branch and creation of new workplaces.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that in the country an effective work is implemented to develop the textile industry. At the same time, at the modern enterprises of the given sector high-quality products are manufactured. Having approved the proposal on input of new manufacture in the cotton-spinning factory in Dashoguz city, the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions.

Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Seyidova, before her report, warmly congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag with Day of workers of art and culture as well as poetry of Magtymguly Fragi widely marked in the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers» and expressed her deep gratitude on behalf of workers of the subordinate sphere for created conditions for popularisation of the rich national heritage globally.

Further, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet reported on the draft of the Resolution on conduction of the Week of culture in Dashoguz velayat.

As she noted, thanks to undertakings of Hero-Arkadag and under the wise leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, ample opportunities are created for development of culture and art, popularisation of the national heritage. The Week of culture on the occasion of Day of workers of culture and art and poetry of Magtymguly Fragi held in June of every year in the country can serve a clear acknowledgement for it.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet submitted a draft of the Resolution for consideration of the head of the state.

Addressing participants of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that in the country a program work is implemented to develop national culture, art and signed the document «On organization of the Week of culture in 2027 in Dashoguz velayat».

Taking an opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan warmly congratulated participants of the meeting and the people of the country on Day of workers of culture and art and poetry of Magtymguly Fragi.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Mammedov reported on the work carried out to fulfil the goals defined in the national programs of development of the scientific-educational sphere.

As he reported, the measures connected with establishment of scientific-practical electronic magazine «Agro innovation in Turkmenistan» of the Turkmen agricultural university named after S.A.Niyazov are taken at present . In the edition of wide reader's audience, advanced experience and results of scientific-practical researches in such areas as agronomics, agro ecology, hydro amelioration and digital agriculture, high technologies materials will be presented for the agro-industrial complex.

Guided by valuable scientific doctrines of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag, in the electronic magazine, the publication of scientific articles of local and foreign professors, teachers, scientists and students is also planned in Turkmen, English and Russian languages.

In this connection for consideration of the head of the state, a corresponding proposal was presented.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that in the country, the great attention is given to preparation of highly skilled specialists and young scientists, increase of efficiency of scientific research. Having approved the proposal on establishment of the scientific-practical electronic magazine «Agro innovation in Turkmenistan», the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet concrete instructions.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov reported on the work to develop cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

As he informed, within the preparation for the visit of the head of the given organisation to our country in the forthcoming month, the working meeting with participation of heads of profile local ministries and branch departments, and heads of representation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development(EBRD) in Turkmenistan took place. Development of drafts of the documents planned to sign within the given visit became the subject of the point.

As Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs reported, with a view of the further development of bilateral cooperation, corresponding documents in such key areas of strategic partnership, as fuel and energy and transport, ecology, financial-bank sphere were prepared.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that our country attaches a special significance for strengthening of relations with authoritative financial institutions and the international banks. Turkmenistan throughout many years successfully co-operates with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the head of the state underlined, having instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs to continue work on development of productive cooperation.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annayev reported on the activity carried out to strengthen the material and technical basis of the sphere of motor transport and improvement of quality of services.

As he informed, the enterprises of the Ministry of Motor Transport take necessary measures to maintain vehicles in good technically condition and to timely carry out high quality service. It allows providing a high level of services given to the population.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that the proper work is implemented to develop the motor transport sector of the country, improve the quality of transport services provided for Turkmen nationals. Having approved the proposal on modernisation of the material and technical basis of the branch, the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions to that end.

At the meeting, a number of other important issues of state life, on which corresponding decisions were made, were also considered.

Concluding the online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and big successes in their work for prosperity of our sovereign fatherland.
