Today, the Culture Week, which took place over several days in the Balkan velayat, concluded. The closing ceremony of the creative forum coincided with celebrations of Culture and Art Workers Day, as well as the Day of Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi – a holiday widely celebrated in our country, becoming one of the main events dedicated to this date.
On the morning of the final day of the cultural forum, participants gathered at the monument to Magtymguly Fragi in the city of Balkanabat, where they laid flowers at the foot of the monument, paying tribute to the great master of words.
The forum participants then arrived at the «Türkmeniň ak öýi» building, located in the administrative centre of the region. The closing ceremony of Culture Week and a concert dedicated to the Day of Cultural and Art Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, took place here.
Participants of the celebration were informed that, in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Culture Week 2027 will be held in the Dashoguz velayat. In this regard, a document signed by the head of state was read. This news was greeted with enthusiasm and joy by representatives of the Dashoguz velayat who took part in the creative forum.
At the conclusion of the concert program, the Challenge Cup was ceremoniously presented to representatives of the Dashoguz velayat as the region that will host Culture Week in 2027.
