In recent years, high-quality rice marketed under the “Ak Merjen” brand has become increasingly popular among consumers in the Dashoguz velayat and other regions of the country. The rice is produced by a private enterprise headed by entrepreneur Shukhrat Sabirov.

Located in Koneurgench, the enterprise primarily processes rice grown in the region. Thanks to specialized equipment, the rice purchased from local producers undergoes careful cleaning that preserves the grain's structure and natural qualities. The "pearl grain" is then graded and sorted to ensure product uniformity and compliance with high quality standards.

The finished product is packaged in polyethylene sacks, the size of which is particularly convenient for wholesale distribution, meets customer demand, and is well suited for long-distance transportation. During the filling and packaging process, precise weight control is maintained, while the hermetically sealed bags provide a high level of protection.

As is well known, the velayat is one of the country's major grain-producing regions. Rice cultivation is among its most developed agricultural sectors, with more than 35,000 tons of rice harvested annually. The state has built a large, high-tech rice processing facility in the velayat to process this harvest into finished products.

Private enterprises also play an active role in supplying consumers with high-quality rice.
