Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and the hyakims of the velayats. The meeting focused on the issues related to the progress of work in country's agricultural sector and the regions.

The first report was delivered by the hyakim of the Ahal velayat, T. Nurmyradov, who briefed on the progress of the seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

According to the report, harvested wheat is currently being transported from grain reception centers to warehouses and elevators in the velayat. In preparation for next year's sowing campaign, fields cleared after the harvest are being plowed, and seed grain is being selected for the upcoming season.

On cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, fertilization with mineral fertilizers, and irrigation are continuing with the efficient use of agricultural machinery.

At the same time, appropriate measures are being implemented to harvest vegetables and melons grown in the velayat and to supply them to the population.

The hyakim also reported on the construction of social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year under the country's socio-economic development programs.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the hyakim to ensure the proper completion of the grain harvest without losing a single kernel, to prepare for the next sowing season, and to continue proper care of the cotton crop.

The head of state also instructed that the work being carried out in the region under the country's socio-economic development programs remain under strict supervision.

Nezt, the hyakim of the Balkan velayat, H. Ashyrmyradov, reported on the progress of agricultural activities in the region.

As noted, wheat harvesting in the velayat is currently underway without losses, and the harvested grain is being transported to elevators and storage facilities. In preparation for the next planting season, the fields cleared after harvesting are being plowed, and seed material is being selected.

Inter-row cultivation, irrigation, and mineral fertilization continue on the cotton fields of the velayat.

Guided by the task of further strengthening the country's food abundance, the region is also harvesting potatoes, vegetables, and melons while ensuring a steady supply of these products to domestic markets.

In addition, a report was given on the construction of facilities scheduled to be inaugurated in the velayat this year under the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the ongoing seasonal agricultural work, stressing the need to gather every grain produced through the hard work of farmers and to care for cotton fields in full compliance with agronomic standards, and issued a number of instructions to the hyakim.

The head of state also instructed that the implementation of socio-economic development programs in the velayat remain under constant supervision.

The next report was presented by the hyakim of the Dashoguz velayat, D. Babayev.

The hyakim began by announcing the good news that the region's grain growers had successfully fulfilled their contractual obligations for delivering the wheat harvest to the state. On behalf of the residents of the velayat, he expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag for creating favorable conditions for productive work.

The hyakim then reported on the progress of the seasonal agricultural campaign.

According to the report, grain harvesting is nearing completion in the velayat, with all necessary measures being taken to harvest the remaining wheat without losses. Fields cleared after harvesting are being plowed in preparation for next year's crop.

The hyakim of the Lebap velayat, D. Genjiyev, then reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, measures are being taken in the velayat to transport the harvested wheat from grain collection points to elevators and warehouses. In order to lay the foundation for next year’s harvest, plowing of the fields cleared of grain crops and the preparation of seed material are being carried out.

Guided by the tasks of providing the people of Turkmenistan with an abundance of food products produced in the country, the velayat, alongside the care of vegetable and melon crops, is taking practical steps to harvest these crops, store them in refrigerated warehouses, and supply the domestic markets.

As reported, the necessary measures are being implemented to transport the harvested wheat from collection points to warehouses and elevators, as well as to ensure the proper storage of grain. As part of preparations for the upcoming sowing campaign for next year’s harvest, plowing and land leveling are being carried out on the fields cleared of wheat. Practical steps are also being taken to prepare agricultural machinery and high-quality seed material for producers for the coming season.

On the cotton fields of the velayats, inter-row cultivation, fertilization with mineral fertilizers, and irrigation are continuing in accordance with agrotechnical requirements.

In addition, work is underway in the regions to harvest vegetable, melon, and other agricultural crops and to ensure that the country’s domestic markets are supplied with an abundance of locally grown products.

At the same time, crop maintenance is being carried out on the rice fields of the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, while in the Mary velayat, irrigation is being conducted on the areas sown with sugar beet to obtain seedlings, along with maintenance of the fields where seedlings have already emerged.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the grain harvesting campaign has entered its final stage and, in this regard, instructed the Deputy Chairman to keep under strict control the work on harvesting the grown wheat without losses, laying the foundation for the upcoming sowing campaign, and caring for the cotton.

Then the head of state, addressing the participants of the meeting, once again emphasized the importance of the current seasonal agricultural activities, stressing the need for a comprehensive approach to the successful fulfillment of the tasks at hand, and gave a number of specific instructions.
