The Turkmen State Institute of Culture invites students of the country's higher educational institutions to participate in the Olympiad on the History of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan.
The competition will be held online on September 18 at 14:00. Up to four students from each higher educational institution may participate, regardless of their field of study or academic specialization.
The Olympiad will be conducted in the form of a test consisting of 50 questions. The duration of the test will be 60 minutes. Each correct answer will be worth 2 points. Accordingly, the maximum possible score is 100 points. Participating higher educational institutions may submit up to 25 questions for the Olympiad, which will be selected and included in the test.
The winners of the competition will be the students who score the highest number of points. Participants who place first, second, and third in the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.
Those wishing to participate in the Olympiad must send information about the participating students and the responsible supervisor, as well as the Olympiad questions prepared by their higher educational institution, to the organizing committee by September 10 via e-mail at tdmi@sanly.tm.

The Olympiad is held with the aim of identifying talented students, stimulating young people's interest in studying the rich history of their country, fostering an erudite and goal-oriented generation, promoting its harmonious spiritual and cultural development, as well as widely popularizing the historical and cultural heritage and expanding effective scientific and educational cooperation among the country's higher educational institutions.
The Olympiad is organized in accordance with the objectives set out in the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System and the State Program for the Development of Social Sciences and Humanities in Turkmenistan.
