The summer holiday season in the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” is proceeding with great success. A vivid confirmation of this is the large-scale activity unfolding at health resorts both in the Balkan velayat and in other regions of the country.
These days, young citizens of Turkmenistan are actively and beneficially spending their summer holidays at the “Dürdäne” Children’s Health Center, which is under the jurisdiction of the Hyakimlik of the Balkan Velayat. This modern complex, located in the Gyzylarbat etrap, is designed to accommodate 300 holidaymakers during each of its three shifts. The Children’s Health Center has created all the conditions and the highest level of comfort so that the happy children can receive a great many vivid impressions every day.
The holiday program is filled with a variety of activities: concerts, creative meetings, talent shows and fascinating excursions are organized for the children. Sports competitions and national games are distinguished by particular dynamism and color. Among them, the cheerful competition for agility and speed, “Kim çalasyn, kim çeýe!”, is especially popular. During creative workshops and competitions, the children demonstrate their talents in vocal performance, literary and acting skills, drawing and handicrafts.
At present, seven clubs are operating at the “Dürdäne” Children’s Health Center. In the crafts section, boys acquire basic professional skills, while girls learn applied arts in the “Miras” club. The children also improve their computer literacy and study English.
The children enthusiastically learn and perform songs praising friendship and brotherhood, peace and a happy childhood in our flourishing Homeland. The festive atmosphere in this picturesque corner, filled with the ringing voices and sincere laughter of children, is complemented by thematic events and excursions dedicated to the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”.
During a recent visit to the “Dürdäne” Children’s Health Center, we met with the Chairman of the Gyzylarbat Etrap Committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, Shamyrat Akmammedov, and asked him to tell us about the work being carried out here.
“We regularly organize thematic and advocacy events in accordance with the approved plan,” shared Sh. Akmammedov. “In close cooperation with the Center’s management and specialists, as well as representatives of public organizations and the fields of education, culture, healthcare and sports, we develop a rich and interesting program for the children.
The organization of creative competitions, musical evenings, sports competitions and national games fills us with pride that, in the current historical era, a talented, well-rounded and harmoniously developed happy generation is being formed. During the events, we present memorable gifts to the children in a solemn atmosphere. Inspired by the care and attention shown to them, representatives of the younger generation of the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State express their sincere gratitude to Arkadagly Hero Serdar and also to the Hero-Arkadag for the conditions created for pleasant and beneficial leisure, and convey their wishes for strong health, long life and success in their large-scale activities.
