The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, held talks as part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Georgia. The main outcome of the high-level meeting was the signing of a comprehensive package of bilateral documents aimed at deepening interstate cooperation in various areas.

Among the agreements signed, particular importance was attached to arrangements in the information sphere. In particular, a Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between the editorial office of the electronic newspaper “Golden age” (Turkmenistan) and the television company “Europe 24” (Georgia).

The document provides for the development of bilateral cooperation and the regular exchange of news materials, which will help strengthen media ties and expand the information space between the two countries.
