Entrepreneurs in the Dashoguz velayat are actively expanding their scope of activities. Relying on government support for small and medium-sized businesses, they now operate in a wide range of economic sectors in the region – from agricultural production and consumer goods manufacturing to services and construction.

A significant portion of their activities are oriented towards the needs of the local consumer market. One of these was a new production facility headed by Islam Hudargenov. At his private enterprise, «Dik ay», located in the Shavat etrap, mass production of spring mattresses has been established.

High-performance modern equipment is used for their production, including for winding springs, preparing bedding layers, and sewing covers. For the production of mattresses, we use high-quality and environmentally friendly domestic fabrics and other necessary raw materials. According to the director, the products of the company are of interest not only to the general public, but also to some specialised institutions, including preschools in the velayat. It is also encouraging that private entrepreneurs are successfully developing activities in the production of products that were previously imported into the velayat from other regions and from abroad. Thus, the first individual enterprise to establish production of synthetic carpet products here was the «Halychy gozeller» enterprise.

In addition, several private enterprises focused on processing domestically produced synthetic polymers, a small enterprise producing decorative cast metal products, and others are successfully operating in the velayat.
