The Turkmen state publishing service, on the recommendation of the Ministry of education of the country, has published a new textbook, «Innovative technologies in agronomy», aimed at students of higher educational institutions specialising in agriculture.

The publication was prepared by the authors C. Mammedov, H. Ishangulyyev, B. Hallyyev and B. Orazgeldiyev.

The textbook covers modern innovative technologies for cultivating agricultural crops, advances in agricultural science, advanced production methods, issues of rational water use and plant nutrition, as well as the latest approaches in environmental protection.

The textbook provides a detailed examination of cultivation technologies for main agricultural crops of Turkmenistan, including wheat, cotton, sugar beets, rice, potatoes, grain and fodder corn, alfalfa, and intercrops. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of scientific developments in agricultural practice and increasing the efficiency of agricultural production.

This new textbook, which has been added to the library collections of specialised universities across the country, will become a valuable guide for students, faculty, researchers, industry specialists, farmers, tenant farmers, and anyone interested in modern agricultural technologies.
