Focused on a Bountiful Harvest of "White Gold"

In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the employees of the Marypagta Production Association, relying on the comprehensive state support provided to the agricultural sector, are carrying out thorough preparations for the upcoming cotton harvesting season.

The hardworking farmers of the Mary velayat are carefully tending the cotton crop cultivated on 162,000 hectares of land. All fieldwork is being carried out in accordance with established agronomic practices. At present, the final irrigation of the plants, additional fertilization with mineral nutrients, topping of the cotton plants, inter-row cultivation, and weed control are underway. This stage of cotton cultivation is one of the most crucial, as it determines both the quality and the volume of the future harvest. During this month, the cotton plants cease their vertical growth, so the farmers' attention is focused entirely on the formation and opening of the cotton bolls.

In the current agricultural season, the Garagum, Turkmengala, Yoloten, and Bayramaly etraps of the velayat are achieving outstanding results in cotton cultivation. The appearance of the first white cotton bolls in the fields clearly demonstrates that the dedicated efforts of the farmers are yielding abundant rewards.

Preparations for the cotton harvest in the Mary velayat are being carried out in an organized manner, with every effort directed toward ensuring that this important campaign is conducted to a high standard.

In anticipation of the harvesting season, intensive work is also underway at the enterprises of the Marypagta Production Association. According to the association's specialists, repair work is nearing completion at all nine cotton ginning plants in the velayat, as well as at its 35 cotton procurement centers. Particular attention is being paid to technical and fire safety systems. The trucks, tractors, and trailers that will be used to transport seed cotton have already undergone technical inspections, been repaired, and are fully prepared for operation.

Specialists from the Marypagta Production Association and the etrap authorities are closely supervising preparations to ensure that the cotton harvest—our country's valuable raw material resource—is carried out in a well-organized manner, within a short timeframe, and without losses. The measures currently being implemented will enable the workers of the velayat to celebrate the glorious 35th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland with outstanding labor achievements.
