These days, the “Arkadag” football team, established on the initiative and through the efforts of Hero-Arkadag, is preparing for the upcoming important competitions. As is known, the “Arkadag” team secured a convincing victory in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Two.
At present, all conditions have been created in Turkmenistan for the development of various sports, including football. This contributes to national sport’s reaching the world stage and opens the way for Turkmen athletes to achieve brilliant victories. It should be noted that the “Arkadag” football team is successfully competing in international competitions.

Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, congratulated the athletes of the “Arkadag” football team, which secured a confident victory in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Two, and also conveyed greetings and best wishes from Hero-Arkadag to the players of the team representing the new city.
Receiving this with a deep sense of pride and inspiration, the footballers expressed their sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag, as well as to Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for the great opportunities created for the development of sport in Turkmenistan.
At present, the “Arkadag” football team, successfully competing in international tournaments, is achieving confident victories. The fact that this team became the champion of the AFC Challenge League has further increased our people’s pride in the footballers. Among the football teams of our country performing successfully is also the “Ahal” team, which has gained the opportunity to compete in the group stage of the Asian Football Confederation Challenge League. This testifies to the fact that the efforts being undertaken in this direction are producing positive results.
At the stadium of the new city of Arkadag, built through the efforts of Hero-Arkadag, all conditions have been created for the footballers to conduct training sessions and organize international competitions. These days, the team’s athletes and coaches are intensively preparing for the upcoming tournaments. Active training and the appropriate conditions that have been created strengthen the players’ confidence in achieving victory in international competitions.
