Today, the final state round of the song and music competition for gifted children «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri», dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the country, took place in the building of «Türkmeniň ak öýi» at the «Nowruz ýaýlasy» site in the Ak bugday etrap.
Before the concert, the participants of the final tour laid flowers at the Independence Monument.
The competition began with the performance of the National Anthem of Turkmenistan. Then, those gathered listened with great enthusiasm to the welcoming address of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressed to the participants of the «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri» competition.
In his Address to the young talents, the head of state wished that their heartfelt songs, which sing of the great deeds, glorious history, national culture, and happy life in an independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, would never cease.
The concert began with the musical and song composition «Garaşsyz, baky Bitarap Türkmenistan – bedew batly at-myradyň mekany», performed by all finalists of the competition. Their first performance on the big stage became an unforgettable event for the rising stars, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on their further spiritual development and help them integrate into the amazing world of art. National songs and music instill in children feelings such as love for the Motherland, respect, and pride in the cultural heritage of their native people. Only the most talented performers – participants in the final stage – were given the opportunity to perform on this beautiful stage today and take a step towards their cherished dream. The Festival of gifted children, held as part of the competition announced by the President of Turkmenistan for the «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» award, is an excellent platform for testing and creative exploration, inspiring children to demonstrate their abilities and talents. The final of the competition featured future masters of the stage, dance, song and music, and folk groups who will go on to further the glory of our unique, distinctive national art.
This creative review is filled with special content in a year held under the motto «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged horses» and marked by the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland.
With their cheerful voices, the young artists celebrated their beloved homeland, its glorious past and wonderful present, our hardworking people, and the picturesque nature of the Turkmen land.
The concert continued with inspired performances celebrating the spiritual traditions of the Turkmen people. The best numbers were performed on the beautifully decorated stage – dozens of songs and musical compositions, works of folk art and modern melodies.
Each performance, distinguished by its creative individuality, turned into a unique celebration. The songs and dances performed by young talents with great enthusiasm and inspiration left no one indifferent. Hundreds of spectators watched the numbers unfolding on stage with pride and excitement, supporting the young artists with thunderous applause. The voices flowing from the depths of children's hearts sounded like an artistic expression of boundless gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, who create ample opportunities for the development of talents and the fulfilment of dreams. The children performed songs about the rapid development and achievements of our homeland, about friendship, brotherhood, humanism, peace and a happy life.
The development of national musical art through the widespread popularisation of folk and pop songs is one of the main goals of competition of the national children. Along with song and musical numbers that showcase the diverse talents of young people, the current gala concert program included a variety of works reflecting the multifaceted nature of national musical culture.
The jury members selected the most talented participants of the competition. To prolonged applause from those gathered, the names of the winners of the song and music competition of the children were announced, and they were presented with valuable gifts and diplomas on behalf of the head of state and Hero-Arkadag. The other participants also received commemorative gifts. Performing on the big stage and winning the competition inspire children to succeed in future creative competitions and achieve their cherished goals.
