During a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on the digital system, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov reviewed the plan of celebrations and festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of independence of the state.
Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Seyidova presented a report on this issue. According to the presented program, forums, exhibitions, educational events, and song and music evenings will be held throughout the country throughout September.
Among the key events of the festive month are the song and music celebration «Arkadagly Gahryman Serdarymyzyň belent maksatlarynyň aýdyň ýollary», ceremonies honouring citizens awarded state awards and awarding the winners of the competition for the Prize of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry», solemn ceremonies of laying flowers at the Independence monument and raising the State flag in the main squares of the velayats and the city of Arkadag, a festive parade and an anniversary concert.
Summing up the report, the head of state emphasised the special significance of the upcoming date for the country and instructed the deputy-prime to ensure a high level of organisation for all planned events.
