On the 23rd of September, at a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty in Ashgabat, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced that the volume of capital investments in the economy of the country by the end of 2026 will amount to over 41 billion 200 million manat.
The head of state noted that the ongoing investment policy is a key factor in the dynamic development and strengthening economic potential of the country. The allocated funds are used for the construction and modernisation of both industrial and social infrastructure facilities.
In the state budget allocation structure of the current year, 68.5% is allocated to the construction of industrial facilities, and 31.5% to social facilities, including the development of education, healthcare, and culture.
In connection with the tasks set, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed relevant agencies to begin developing a Program for the socioeconomic development and investment of Turkmenistan for the next year, 2027.
