President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a message to the older generation and the entire people of the country on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons. The head of state emphasized that respect for elders is a centuries-old national tradition that supports the continuity of generations and universal human values.

In his message, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that ensuring a prosperous, peaceful, and happy life for citizens, particularly the experienced older generation and young people, remains the main goal of state policy. The Head of State also highly praised the life experience of elders, which serves as a foundation for fostering patriotism and strengthening the unity of society.

“The advice and wise guidance of elders, who serve as exemplary role models, form the foundation of upbringing. Their rich life and work experience serve as a support in strengthening the unity of society, raising generations in the spirit of high patriotism and humanism, and confidently advancing the country along a bright path of creation toward new horizons of development,” stated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
