OJAR AZIYA Presented Investment and Infrastructure Projects at an Exhibition in Kabul

OJAR AZIYA participated in the 5th National and International Trade Exhibition named after Imam Abu Hanifa, held from 7 to 13 October 2026 at the Afghanistan International Expo Centre in Kabul.

As one of Turkmenistan’s leading construction companies, OJAR AZIYA introduced visitors to its key infrastructure projects.

The centrepiece of the exhibition was the proposed modern Sarahs–Mary– Serhetabat high-speed highway, which will be approximately 450 kilometres long. The motorway will connect Turkmenistan’s border with Iran to its border with Afghanistan, contributing to the development of regional transit and trade.

The company also presented a modern warehouse and logistics complex currently under construction at the dry port of Torghundi Railway Station. The complex will have an annual capacity of up to 2.4 million tonnes of cargo and 43,800 containers.

The projects presented also included a hotel and logistics complex under development in Serhetabat. The 5-hectare site will accommodate a 150-room hotel, 10,400 square metres of storage facilities and parking for 200 freight vehicles.

Another important project was a modern flour mill in Serhetabat. The facility will process 6,384 tonnes of wheat annually and produce approximately 4,980 tonnes of high-quality flour for the Afghan market.

Representatives of OJAR AZIYA held G2B and B2B meetings to discuss prospects for investment partnerships and the joint implementation of infrastructure projects. During the exhibition, the company also signed Memoranda of Understanding with leading companies from Afghanistan and Iran.

Participation in the exhibition marked an important step towards strengthening business and investment ties between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan and demonstrated the company’s interest in long-term cooperation with international partners.

OJAR AZIYA is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The company expresses its profound gratitude to the esteemed National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, and the esteemed President of Turkmenistan for the extensive opportunities created for the development of entrepreneurship, the comprehensive support provided to the private sector and the favourable conditions established for expanding cooperation with international partners.
