From the 22nd of October 22 to 1st of November, the Turkmenistan Chess Federation Cup will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan. The main venue for the competition will be the Ashgabat specialised chess and checkers school, which will bring together the strongest grandmasters, promising young players, and distinguished veterans.

The tournament participants will demonstrate their skills in three key disciplines: classical chess, rapid chess (fast chess), and blitz (lightning‑fast play). The total prize fund for the competition will be 10,000 manats.

In category «A», the winners and runners-up for first, second and third places will receive 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 manats, respectively. In category «B», the payouts for the top three will be 500, 300 and 200 manats. In addition to the main awards, the tournament regulations provide for special cash prizes for women, sports veterans, and young chess players of various age groups.

The upcoming tournament not only represents a competition for prize money and medals, but also opens up serious professional prospects for sportsmen. The winners and top performers in their categories will earn the right to compete in the 2027 Turkmenistan Premier League, while the strongest rapid and blitz players will earn the right to represent the country in international competitions.
