On 3 November 2026, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Eiji Hosoi, President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit.
Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to meet in person, the guest noted that Japan attaches particular importance to the development of relations with Turkmenistan. As emphasized, it is a great honour for Toyo Engineering Corporation to operate in Turkmenistan.
Welcoming the business executive and noting that, during his current visit to Turkmenistan, the head of the Japanese company would participate in the International Exhibition and Conference "Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan" (CIET 2026), President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished him every success in his activities and new initiatives aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, founded on the principles of mutual respect and support, are long-term in nature and have a strategic character.
Highlighting the significant contribution of Japanese partners to the realization of the mutual economic potential, the Head of State noted that leading companies from the friendly country have implemented projects in Turkmenistan's gas sector and chemical industry over many years. Fruitful cooperation has also been established with Toyo Engineering Corporation in the oil and gas and chemical sectors. With the company's participation, a major gas chemical complex, including a polymer plant, was constructed and commissioned in Kiyanly.
Once again expressing his gratitude for the favourable conditions created for productive business operations in the Turkmen market, the businessman assured that the company he heads would continue to fulfil its contractual obligations in a responsible manner.
