On November 3, 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and Mohammed bin Gharad, Director of the International Participants Department of Expo 2030 Riyadh and Country Manager for Turkmenistan at the upcoming World Expo.

During the meeting, Mohammed bin Gharad expressed his appreciation to Turkmenistan for being among the first countries to officially confirm its participation in Expo 2030 Riyadh.

The parties discussed preparations for Turkmenistan's national pavilion, as well as organizational matters related to the country's participation, including the ceremony for signing the agreement on Turkmenistan's official participation in the exhibition.

Ambassador M. Ayazov emphasized that Turkmenistan's participation in Expo 2030 would continue the country's consistent practice of presenting its achievements at major international exhibitions, including those held in Milan, Astana, Dubai and Osaka. He also highlighted the importance of the upcoming event in introducing the economic, scientific, technological and cultural potential of Turkmenistan to the international community.

The parties expressed their mutual interest in further cooperation on preparations for the exhibition.
