This week foreign businessmen have conducted 44 transactions for oil products and cotton goods to the sum of over US$ 85.422 million at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Businessmen from Russia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and Afghanistan conducted the transaction in foreign currency for liquefied gas, low-sulphur fuel oil, polypropylene, technical sulphur produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. M-100 fuel oil and stove gasoline produced at the Seydi oil refinery is the choice of businessmen from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. Buyers from Russia and the UAE conducted the transactions for one-coloured and jacquard terry towels, furniture pads, cotton yarn, cotton fibre, and businessmen from Afghanistan bought confectioneries.

The transactions in deposit manats were conducted for one-coloured and jacquard terry towels, cotton yarn, clothes wool, cotton flake, cotton waste, mixers, caramel and waffles of various kinds. The buyer-countries are the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, India, Pakistan, Slovakia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan. The transactions totalled 3.796 million manats.

Turkmen entrepreneurs bought bread wheat of the 2010 harvest to the sum of over 718,000 manats.
