The finalists of the “Pearls of Independence” children’s musical and song contest that is traditionally held on the eve of the main holiday of the country – the Day of Independence of Turkmenistan every year performed a gala concert at the Palace of Congress in Ashgabat.
The Ministry of Education and Culture, and the State Committee for TV, Radio and Cinematography, Khyakimliks of all regions and Ashgabat took an active part in organization of this festival of versatile bright artistic talents among children that is held within the framework of the Turkmeniň Altyn Asyry National Contest of the President of Turkmenistan.
According to the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, over 800 young talented artists from all regions of the country took part in this grandiose contest. The brightest ‘stars’ on the musical and song ‘sky’ presented their performances during the festive concert in the Turkmen capital. The valuable prizes and diplomas were awarded to the winners of the contest on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. Souvenirs were presented to all participants of the festive musical and song marathon.
