New highway bridge over Garagum River was put into exploitation in Ashgabat. Representatives of the capital municipality, social organizations, honorary elders, and youth took part in the opening ceremony.

Total length of the bridge is 150 meters, where it was envisaged passage of cars on three traffic lanes in each side that forms total width of the bridge with 34.5 meters. Height of bridge over river is 34.5 meters that allows freely realizing the traffic of small river vessels under it.

With a view of maintenance of traffic security, besides middle dividing kerb, the junctions were envisaged in both ends of the bridge.
