Today, in the conference hall of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi, it was held “Day of the Japanese culture” for students of the Japanese language department of the faculty of the eastern languages and literature of this higher educational establishment organized jointly with the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan.
Within the last years, such events became traditional for all departments of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi. Only at the faculty of the eastern languages, owing to efforts of the students, it is held annual holidays of Hindi, Arab, Turkish, Korean, Persian and Chinese languages. This action was devoted to the upcoming national holiday of Turkmenistan – Neutrality Day. As a rule, such events within the higher educational institution attract the interest from the part of the teachers and students of other faculties. Therefore, the hall is overcrowded. The guests from the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, mass media took part in this event.
As the organizers underlined, the purpose of the educational action is the profound learning of the Japanese language and development of stable skills of proficient command of informal speech as well as familiarization of the Turkmen students with traditional culture of Japan. For this purpose, all participants got an opportunity to perform short song and musical, theatricalized compositions. Exclusive show of national Turkmen and Japanese suits became one of the brightest numbers of rich program.
In conclusion of the festive evening, the representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan and administration of the higher educational establishment expressed the words of gratitude to organizers and all participants of the event urged to strengthen the Turkmen-Japanese cooperation in humanitarian sphere.
