Today, Turkmen-Austrian business forum was held in “Mizan” business center of Ashgabat. Representative delegation at the head of Director of department of CIS countries of the Federal Economic Chamber of the Republic of Austria Heintz Walter arrived in Ashgabat for participation in the meeting organized by Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The delegation included the officials of the Austrian state structures on development of business and representatives of the companies, having the representative office in Turkmenistan as well as visiting our country for the first time. From the Turkmen part, the representatives of a series of sectoral ministries and departments of Turkmenistan and Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country took part in the work of the forum.

Within the framework of the meeting, held in businesslike constructive view exchange, particular attention was paid to the cooperation of the Austrian businessmen with the representatives of non-governmental sector of economy of Turkmenistan. It was held bilateral meetings between representatives of the Austrian companies and sectoral ministries and departments of Turkmenistan. Final part of the forum’s work took place in the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in “round table” format.
