Center for improving the pedigree qualities of cattle was opened in the Cattle-breeding Peasants’ Association “Watan” of “Turkmenmallary” Association in Ak Bugday etrap. The center was opened within the framework of the project “Agricultural technologies in Turkmenistan”, being realized with assistance of USAID.

Activity of the center is urged to make contribution to the systematic operations on improvement of pedigree qualities of cattle in the cattle-breeding peasants’ associations as well as in private farms of Akhal province. Similar centers are functioning in Mary and Dashoguz provinces, next in turn – Lebap and Balkan provinces. Within the framework of the project “Agricultural technologies in Turkmenistan”, it was also organized the training seminars on agrotechnology and leading technologies of hothouse farms.
