35 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan within last week. Businessmen from Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands bought diesel fuel and low-sulphur furnace fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Businessmen from the Russian Federation bought industrial iodine (Turkmenhimiya State Concern). The transactions in the foreign currency were also concluded for flour, one-coloured and jacquard terry towels, jean cloth, cotton yarn, cotton fibre, sheep’ and goats’ skin, textile wastes. The buyer-countries: Russia, China, Belgium, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, the Virgin Islands, Gibraltar. The transactions in the foreign currency totalled over US$ 80 million.
