Final round of the creative contest of young variety soloists “Star of the year” was held in Congress Palace “Maslahat koshgi” of Ashgabat.
This contest organized by the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, Ministry of Culture and State Committee of Turkmenistan for television, radio broadcasting and cinematography was held for the fourth time.
By the terms of contest, the contestants performed in the final two songs and one without musical accompaniment.
The winner in this creative marathon and owner of the title “Star of the year” became young talented vocalist Lilia Churchaga – the student of the Turkmen National Conservatoire, who confidently led during whole contest.
Happy winner was awarded with the challenge Cup “Star of the year” and honorable mention prize.
