The Mary mechanical-repair enterprise (MRE) of “Garagumderyagurlushyk” Production Association of the Ministry of Water Economy of Turkmenistan has completed the manufacturing of eight wheeled water gates for hydraulic structure of Kaka Reservoir “Gozgonchai”.
These days, the metalware shop of the enterprise also fulfilled the order of “Garagumderyagurlushyk” Production Association. It was assembled eight floating twin tank pontoons for hydraulic dredgers, operating at watershed of springs of Garagum River. Hydraulic dredgers are not only replenished with gear and spare parts, but also repaired and renovated. Like in previous years, it is planned to repair five suction dredges in the current year as well.
The enterprise was founded six decades ago in connection with construction of full-flowing Garagum River. All these years, its main customer was “Garagumderyagurlushyk” Production Association. Mechanical-repair enterprise carries out a large scope of works and services – from iron casting, welding of units, aggregates, metalware, major repairs of various techniques, including “Komatsu” excavators up to production of spare parts and details. These days, the plant has started the repair of two filling barges intended for transportation of liquid fuel products.
During next three years, the enterprise plans to realize the scale works on thorough reconstruction of shops, buildings, structures with kitting-up of production spaces with new highly productive machinery, mechanisms, modern technical equipment and gears.
