In 2012, 397 large facilities worth a total of over 5 billion US dollars were constructed and put into exploitation in Turkmenistan. The construction of many projects in our country is realized with participation of the foreign companies. One of such reliable partners is the Russian Close Corporation “Vozrozhdenie” Production Association”.
History of this cooperation started in September 2009, when it was made a decision on conclusion of two contacts with the Russian company. The first one is on construction of 1300-meter long overpass above track lines and interchanges with 400-meter long overbridge in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”. The second contact belongs to the construction in the capital and its outskirts of East-West transport corridor, which provides non-stop traffic from airport till ring road and connects the ring road to road network of Ashgabat.
To date, the company completes the construction of the third (last) stage of East-West transport corridor. In the last year, two turns of East-West transport corridor was put into exploitation. In June, it was opened traffic on facilities of the first starting complex. It has included 8 projects: two-level interchanges and bridges.
For providing high quality of works and long life of facilities, being erected in the country, the latest scientific attainments and elaborations are widely used in the construction and designing operations. Besides own specialists, “Vozrozhdenie” Company involved the leading planning and construction organizations of Russia and Turkmenistan. The designs of overpasses and interchanges used in construction are super-modern to date. Engineering solutions, being realized at that, take into account the available climatic and geological conditions on the territory of the country.
Specialists of “Vozrozhdenie” also take into account complicated seismic situation in the region. In this connection, pendulum bearings, damping devices and shock-transmitters from leading world manufacturers were introduced into structure of bridges and overpasses.
Technology of monolithic post-strained concrete is innovative one. This modern technology, corresponding with the European standards, allows gaining required durability with optimal expenses. In due time, “Vozrozhdenie” Company was the pioneer in its introduction into road building of St. Petersburg.
Another technological innovation for road building of Turkmenistan is the strengthening of acclivities with use of volumetric geogrid. This high-performance and technological method is considerably cheaper than concrete casting, but at that, it allows reaching the required durability of construction.
Innovation in road building of Turkmenistan became the use of crushed-stone and mastic asphalt concrete. Its preference while covering of upper layer of road “cloth” is in greater firmness to deterioration. For realization of the projects in Turkmenistan, it was created well-developed infrastructure: 3 asphaltic concrete plants with production capacity of 800 tons per hour, 2 mixing stations with total capacity of 160 tons per hour, vibrocompression line in complex with BSU with production capacity of 1 km of road kerbs in a shift, quarry for mining and production of inert materials with monthly dispatch of production up to 150000 m3, mechanized column of over 300 road building and special machinery, shop of metalware and etc. In the near future, two installations on bitumen modification with production capacity of 15 tons per hour each will start to operate.
Today, nearly 4000 persons work in the Turkmen branch office of “Vozrozhdenie” Company. Over 90% is local personnel.
