An exhibition and conference of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan dedicated to the 5th anniversary of this public organisation has opened in Ashgabat.
The regulatory framework and important legal acts, including the Law on the State Support for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Law on the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the State Programme for the state support for small and medium enterprises in Turkmenistan for 2011-2015 have given a powerful impetus to promote the private sector and expand the area of entrepreneurial activity. A landmark event was the creation of the party of the Union Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in 2012.
An anniversary exhibition of Turkmen businessmen that has brought together over 160 participants, including private enterprises, business associations and entrepreneurs from different regions of our country and Ashgabat, is an impressive showcase of economic achievements, creative flights and initiatives of the private sector.
The large-scale versatile exhibition in the Exhibition Centre Sergi kosgi in the Turkmen capital. The heads and deputies of the Mejlis, cabinet ministers, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan and international organisations, representatives of public organisations, ministries and departments, higher educational institutions and mass media took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The Exhibition Centre houses dozens of colourfully decorated pavilions illustrating vividly the participants' intention to present their achievements and potential to the fullest extent. The participants include businessmen who have the profound experience in operating in the market as well as beginners who present their products and developments for the first time.
The companies specialising in the construction, furniture, textile, food, printing and tourism sectors, the spheres of advertising and design and folk crafts are showcasing their expertise and potential at the exhibition.
