The head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution on designing and construction of two cotton-cleaning enterprises for processing of seed cotton with an annual capacity of 40 thousand tons each as well as their engineering supporting systems in Altyn asyr etrap of Akhal province and Sakarchage etrap of Mary province. On the territory of cotton-cleaning enterprise in Akdepe etrap of Dashoguz province, it will be constructed new production shops. The construction of these enterprises will be started in April 2013 and put into exploitation in April 2015. “Turkmenpagta” State Concern will conclude the contract for construction of new enterprises with old partner of our country – “Engin Group Consorcium S.A.” company.

Major production bodies of the enterprises will be fitted with technological equipment from the USA. In contrast to former methods of preparation of seed cotton, progressive chemical purification technologies allows fully baring the seeds, removing from them lint, having preserved their high germinating capacity. At that, the finished seeds will never aggregate with each other that will decrease their unproductive expenditure while sowing. Sharp reduction of valuable seed material, particularly stock seeds, and decrease of process costs in singling will contribute to cardinal improvement of agrotechnology of cotton growing in the country, rise of its efficiency.
