The center for artificial pollination of cattle was opened in the Peasants’ Association named after Kemine of Turkmengala etrap in Mary province. The center is situated in the reconstructed building with essential communication lines fully fitted with the equipment.
The center will play an important role in improvement of pedigree qualities of cattle in the peasants’ associations as well as on the instructions of the leadership of the State Cattle breeding Association, will also render paid services for private farms if their total number will correspond with requirements on pedigree parameters and keeping conditions.
The center has genetic material obtained from bulls of breed of the American selection with high productivity potential. In future, it allows increasing the milk productivity of local cows by 1.5-2.0 times and indices of live weight by 20-30%. At that, it will be laid a foundation for future herd of pedigree cattle.
Specialists were trained in advance for activity of the Center. Upon completion of special training courses, they will get relevant certificates.
