A presentation of the selected works of Magtymguly Fraghi in the Romanian language took place in Romania on May 23. The cultural action organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania brought together the heads and officials of diplomatic representations accredited in Romania and the representatives of Titulescu European Foundation, higher educational institutions, the media, scientists and cultural workers and Turkmen young people who study at universities in the friendly country. The Turkmen historians delegated to Bucharest made presentations on the role and significance of Magtymguly’s poetry and preparations for the 290th birth anniversary of the poet to be celebrated in 2014.

They took place at the largest universities of the country, Istanbul University and the University of Gaza. The programme of the cultural action included the festive events with the participation of Turkmen and Turkish scientists, poetry readings and concerts.
