Grain growers in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary Velayats have started the winter crops harvesting campaign. Grain growers in Dashoguz Velayat will follow their colleagues on June 12.
This year grain growers in the country are to reap 1,600 million tons of grain from 860,000 hectares of lands. Over 1,880 Case, New Holland, John Deere and CLAAS combine harvesters are engaged in the 2013 harvesting campaign in the country. 6,660 trucks will deliver grain to 157 receiving points and elevators.
According to the Resolution signed by the President of Turkmenistan on April 12, one million US dollars will be awarded to Etrap Hyakimliks that will achieve the highest results of the social and economic development summing up the year of 2013.
