Flotilla of “Turkmenhowayollary” State National Civil Aviation Department was replenished with another new airliner of “Boeing” Company (USA). Early in the morning, airliner “Boeing-737-800”, which performed 18-hour flight on the route Seattle (USA) – Goose Bay (Canada) – Birmingham (Great Britain) – Ashgabat, landed at the International Airport of Ashgabat. It became the second aircraft of this batch. According to the Resolution of the president of Turkmenistan, a contract for its purchase was made with the American aircraft building giant in July 2011.


Hours-long flight with refuelling in Canada and Great Britain was accomplished by the crew of “Turkmenhowayollary” State National Civil Aviation Department. Distance of non-stop flight of the aircrafts “Boeing-737-800”, coming to 5600 kilometers, allows exploiting them for realization of passenger flights to Istanbul, Moscow, Abu Dhabi, Frankfurt and other cities of the Eurasian continent.

As “Turkmenhowayollary” State National Civil Aviation Department informed, another airliner of this batch will arrive in Turkmenistan in the near future.
